About Seasons for Growth
Seasons for Growth was established in Australia in 1996 with funding from the Mary MacKillop Foundation, an organisation with a strong Scottish heritage.
In 2001 the Notre Dame Centre was granted the license by Good Grief Ltd, the Australian owned not-for-profit organisation responsible for the development of the programme. This authorises us to train adults as Trainers and Companions to deliver the programme to children, young people and adults.
From 2008 – 2016 the Scottish Government provided funding for the Centre to appoint a National Coordinator whose role it is to promote Seasons for Growth throughout Scotland by building a sustainable network of Trainers and Companions. This role is currently supported by the Robertson Trust along with The Notre Dame Centre.
